Would it be fair for Sepiroth and Vergil to call each other a Worthy Opponent? Both have complimented each other during their fights (Vergil when he acknowledges Sephiroth's strength, and Sephiroth admitting he needs his magic and Illusions in this fight when Vergil manages to injure Sephiroth with his speed), Hell Sephiroth even says Vergil is powerful when he finds him wandering.
