** TJ's gloves each have a star on the back and "CHAMP" written on the outer wrists, never mind being fingered boxing gloves, implying they're his personal gloves instead of being provided by the venue. Possibly downplayed since he could've had them inspected to prove they weren't loaded.

* CombatPragmatist: [[TheAtoner While his cheating days are mostly behind him]] (barring a few [[FinishingMove No Mercies]] that wouldn't be legal in '''any''' ring, ever, like [[WhyDontYouJustShootHim simply shooting his foe with a machine gun]]), he used to be a shameless cheater, starting when, as a boy, he added [[PowerFist a roll of quarters to his boxing glove]] to break the nose of his opponent. When Balrog knocks out the ref, he's free to at least use his Shoot Toss and a kick for good measure.

** In addition, his boxing shorts don't have a contrasting color for a clear line of demarcation for below-the-belt hits. Again downplayed since the Texas flags on the sides end at the waistband, but TJ would likely be asked to change shorts.

* AllAmericanFace: Played with in that, while he was a massive {{Heel}} way back when, nowadays, he's gone straight (and is the good boxer between him and Balrog), and wears the Texas flag on his shorts. He moves in at the start of the match to touch gloves in the name of good sportsmanship (if not with a bit of gloating on his part), only for Balrog to dismiss him.

* WearingAFlagOnYourHead: Well, on your shorts more like. Though it doesn't match either Texas or the United States' flags, so it might just be a star-and-stripes motif instead of a specific flag.

* ArtisticLicenseSports: He enters the ring with both his coat and a gold chain necklace – neither of which are permissible in a world champion bout – and the horned emblem on the waist of his boxing shorts could be a kind of personal branding or at least a piece of armor since it's metal. And that's without factoring in [[CombatPragmatist his history of illegal attacks in boxing]], illustrated by his Dirty Bull combo in the fight proper.

* WalkingShirtlessScene: After the BattleStrip. He should have been shirtless to begin with, given the circumstances, but it was probably too difficult to get him to cooperate.

** As far as fighting goes, TJ keeps it clean until Balrog [[KillingInSelfDefense escalates the fight]] except for one thing. His knockout punch in Round 1 that downed Balrog is a jumping attack, which is illegal. It's unclear whether his feet touched the ground before impact.

* ArcherArchetype: Since 2013 she uses a makeshift compound bow against enemies as well as for travel. In the fight, she smacks Nathan in the head with the bow, but before she can fire an arrow at him, she's forced to jump out of the jeep before it crashes into some rocks.

Drop The Hammer is now a disambiguation page.

* DropTheHammer: Thor's famous weapon is the hammer Mjolnir, from which most of his power is derived from. It is a divine weapon forged in a star from the mystical metal Uru and imbued with the essence of a galaxy-sized supernatural hurricane called the God Tempest, which was sealed inside it by Odin. Sadly, a hammer is not a piercing weapon, so he can't hurt Diana with it.

* StoneWall: He's ultimately this compared to his opponent being much slower and weaker but is demonstrated to be much tougher. However, him being much slower and weaker means he couldn't outspeed or outmuscle his opponent and that Diana could bypass his superior natural defenses with her atom-slicing blade and that her durability could only really being compromised by piercing weapons, something that [[DropTheHammer Mjolnir]] wouldn't really qualify as.

Doesn't provide a Bait And Switch.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: Thanks to being a bear, he's ''far'' stronger than a dog. What does he do when he's pinned down thanks to [=McGruff=] pouncing on him from a tree? Simply turn the situation around via his superior strength and pin the Crime Dog down instead in one swift movement.

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: He may be a humanoid dog with higher speed and agility than Smokey, but Smokey's a ''goddamn bear'' who's far stronger ''and'' tougher. As such his blows can't do much to Smokey, and when he manages to pin down Smokey, the bear uses his superior strength to turn the situation around and pin [=McGruff=] down instead. Boomstick [[LampshadeHanging points this out in the results]] and Deadpool also does it in Thanos Vs Darkseid.

I Am Not Shazam is a YMMV trope.

* IAmNotShazam: Is not actually named "Batman Beyond", he is just referred to as Batman. The beyond is about the fact he's the first person to take up the mantle of Batman after Bruce Wayne was forced to retire (fifth, in the comics continuity). That said, the series still refers to him because, as shown at the end of ''Justice League'', the experiment that led to him was called "Project: Batman Beyond."

* IAmNotShazam: Is not actually named "Spider-Man 2099", he is just referred to as Spider-Man who happens to be from the year 2099, long after Peter Parker has passed away.
