Removing the part about autism just REEKS of cliches. ESPECIALLY when it comes to high-functionning autism. "Nobody is arguing that autism is a blessing"? Most people with autism wouldn't have it in any other way. It's also very common to see it as a blessing due to how they are supposed to be "savants" and geniuses but most people don't know a lot about the downsides. Hell, the "genius" part is the most common thing you'll hear everywhere; if your child is autistic, he HAS to be a genius and all. Yes, a lot of people are arguing this, sorry. Wether this is this or cursed with awesome is up to debate, but that's definitely not something "nobody says". All the opposite. The genius, and therefore "desired" part is the one thing you'll find everywhere where people are not "specialized" in autism. There's a reason the rainman cliche is so persistant.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Yeah, I was just thinking about the reason given, "nobody is arguing that it is a blessing"; that's a really common problem in the autistic community since a lot of them are really happy this way. It's ca complicated problem so I guess both Po V are understandable.
