"Many previous entries in the MCU had clearly established that the interstellar community was utterly terrified of the Mad Titan" - among the links is SHIELD 5x20, which aired after movie's release.
Should we organize Avengers: Infinity War like The Avengers (2012) ? Like chronologically by particular fights for the movie section, then the final battles with each characters's moment of glory?
Hide / Show RepliesI'm thinking of adding a pic in each of the separate sections because, seriously, just one pic doesn't do it justice
I don't want to just delete it, but the idea that Thor forced Thanos to flee for his life at the end of the movie is absurd. Thor managed to hit Thanos with a more powerful weapon than he was expecting, but now that he knows about Stormbreaker, Thanos has nothing to fear from it, or Thor, or any other hero. He could turn Thor AND Stormbreaker into glass or air or pork-flavored ramen in an instant.
Hide / Show RepliesI agree. Even if it was charred a little and he had an axe through his chest, Thanos was still alive and had the fully completed gauntlet in his hand, which gives him literally infinite power. The fact that he chose to fulfill his goals when the gauntlet was still in prime condition just shows that he cares less about Thor than his own personal gains.
Edited by ahasemore Being located at the top of the food chain does not make one a superior speciesMaybe running for his life is just a bit of an exaggeration, but Thanos was indeed greatly injured. Thor had a giant ax lodged in his chest and Thanos had just angered him even more by erasing half the universe. If Thor had been thinking clearly he probably would have tried to finish Thanos right away, and Thanos was probably bleeding out at the time and extremely weak physically. Chances are Thanos could beat Thor if he wanted to at any point now, but just picked the safer option first.

Why isn't using the gauntlet to deal with Thor asap the safer option for Thanos? If Thanos was really concerned with his life, that would've been his priority when he used the Gauntlet. He didn't do that, so it clearly wasn't.
Being located at the top of the food chain does not make one a superior speciesShould we add pictures and quotes in the page folders (like the 2017 Punisher's 'nightmare fuel' page), or leave it like it is?
