I think the Star Wars D20 System comment is ComplainingAboutShowsYouDontLike. I find the D20 system very easy to understand (you roll a D20 + modifiers, and try to get your target number), and I think the reason WotC didn\'t use the old system was because it was developed and licensed for West End Games, while WotC had its own system to deal with it.
