Reading the trope description, it sounds more like playing it straight to me. However, there is the additional plot-important point that neither of them ever seems to notice their own voice not being their own (they have to scrutinize their bodies and even look at their reflections to realize what\'s happened). The only times they notice a vocal incongruity are when Kokoro listens to Satoru\'s recordings, which are in her voice but in a different tone and with different speech patterns. I\'m not sure what to make of that trope-wise. Anyone?
