This has been on my mind ever since I first saw the movie. Does Ned suddenly gaining the ability to use Strange\'s sling ring and successfully open portals count as AssPull? IMHO Ned has NEVER displayed any sign of possessing potential to become a sorcerer before, and has only a single line about magic running in his family which he said offhandedly to Strange as all we have as Foreshadowing, and we don\'t even know if it\'s actually true and that Ned does indeed have relatives who are actually sorcerers.
