[[quoteblock]]\"While she is a recent addition to the Competitive ladder, the fact that she was OP at launch was fairly evident to anyone playing Quickplay or Deathmach in the arcade. . to the point where most people fully expected the nerfs once she joins competitive. sure enough, it didn\'t take long for them to happen.\"[[/quoteblock]]

No it wasn\'t. There were divisive opinions about her from Day 1,

Also, this argument doesn\'t work because people expected her nerfs to be extremely more severe than just 2 sec cooldown to her Bash and 50 points of her armor. Using the fact that she was \'\'slightly\'\' nerfed doesn\'t validate the opinions of the \"She\'s Overpowered\" squad. The vast majority think the nerfs were did nothing.

[[quoteblock]]But the impact she\'s had on Competitive is fairly massive. According to data sites like Overbuff, ever since her release, the Meta at the higher levels of play (Diamond to GM) has shifted, and she is now one of the 6 most picked characters.[[/quoteblock]]

Overbuff numbers are misleading. They only represent players that have \"opted-into\" the service and are also vulnerable to player biases and flaws. For instance, if players THINK a character is overpowered, not only will that character be picked more, but they will also fail to properly counter the character, thus inflating their numbers. A common argument against Overbuff\'s current numbers on Brigitte is that this is exactly what\'s happening now; it\'s not that Brigitte is overpowered, but the vast majority of players are still failing to counter her even at high levels.

[[quoteblock]]But the exception to that rule, has been the Dallas Fuel, a team that has LONG been struggling. Dallas has been running Brigitte far and away the most, with roughly 3 times as much Brigitte playtime then any other team.

And the result is, that Dallas, a team previously considered one of the weakest in the entire league, has just recently beaten both the Philadelphia Fusion, and the Boston uprising - two teams who in previous stages have both made it to the Finals. So its entirely \'\'\'possible\'\'\' that Dallas\'s current improved performance is exactly the kind of thing that led to the Triple tank Meta.[[/quoteblock]]

I put one word in bold to highlight the fault this argument: it hasn\'t happened yet.

It\'s entirely POSSIBLE that this is true--but it hasn\'t happened. What might happen, or what COULD be true, is SpeculativeTroping. We can\'t base an example on something that has yet to happen.

[[quoteblock]]Also, its worth noting that every single character in the game has an entry in this page, so Brigitte being the only one missing is just odd at this stage.[[/quoteblock]]

That isn\'t how it works. When the page was started, not every character was on it. They were added because the meta constantly shifts and characters fall in and out of it. Brigitte being added just because she\'s in the game violates the rules of how TierInducedScrappy works.
