** The Fanon interpretation that Jack Morrison was Adorkable during his Overwatch days becomes this when Ana's backstory was released. On hindsight, the idealism which made up a large part of his Adorkable charm in turn blinded him to various danger signs brewing within Overwatch, which contributed to its collapse.
** Recall ends on a high note, where Winston reinstates Overwatch. The first one to jump at the call was none other than his long time friend Tracer. Surely the next short, which takes place later the same day and involves Tracer, must be as happy as this one... right? It's actually Alive, which ends with Widowmaker successfully assassinating peaceful Omnic monk Mondatta, turning King's Row into a hellhole, and Tracer being injured while left in complete distraught. No happy ending here, folks. This makes the ending of Recall go from being unambiguously happy, to being bittersweet, knowing what happens immediately afterwards.

Firstly, neither seem to fit FunnyAneurysmMoment at all, since neither of them are about a joke that winds up not being funny any more. They're just events that aren't funny one way or the other. Which is more HarsherInHindsight.

But the reason I didn't move them and brought them here is that they're both based entirely on fanon. They're both about how a fanon WMG wound up being HarsherThanHindsight, which seems like misuse.
