openBook about evil haiku psychiatrist Literature
Hi, I'm looking for a book. Must have read it about 10 years ago (god I'm getting old).
Anyway, I have no clue about name or author. But I remember the content fairly well. I guess it would qualify as a thriller. It started with a woman walking her dog and suddenly she got this intense panic attacks out of nowhere. Eventually it turned out there was a psychiatrist who would condition his patients with haikus, so that reading a specific haiku would hypnotise them, and then he would condition them to have panic attacks or depression or whatever.
openSome guys breath smelled like onions...
I was watching a show-Not sure if it was an anime or live tv-This woman was with this guy, she liked him-he didn't notice she liked him tho-and she was being all flirty and sat down beside him and smelled his breath and it stunk like onions. I don't recall many details, just that one.
opena show about a genius criminal with a mask Anime
Hi, him looking for an old cartoon from the (maybe) 2000 era. It’s about a team of detectives that track a genius criminal with a (golden?) mask. It takes place in Europe if I remember correctly and the main appeal is the mystery surrounding the identity of this criminal.
If anyone has any clue about this show and where I can find it ( I mostly want to know the identity of the man behind the mask) tell me please.
openShows that were similar to super sentai Live Action TV
I've been trying to find 2 shows I watched when I was a kid. I watched it on a vhs tape that a friend showed me when I was visiting family in Vietnam. I don't remember the plots just some details. I know that they weren't in english that's for sure, but they had subtitles. I think it was either japanese, chinese, vietnamese, maybe even korean I don't know. They were both similar to power rangers and I want to find them because its been bothering me not remembering what the shows were.
1. The first one had teams of three people fighting other teams of three, and they activated their powers, suits, and robots by glowing symbols on the back of their hands. Some of the team colors were I think red, purple, orange and blue(light blue?). The red team had a robot bird, I think the purple team had a robot turtle or something, blue had like a shark maybe? I just remember that the purple team were one of the bad guys and the red team were one of the good guys. The red team had 2 males and a female. The female's weapons were fans, one of the males used his fists only(I think) and the other had 2 swords. It takes a 3 members of one team to summon their robots though.
2. The second one had 2 characters: a female and a male. The female's suit was white while the male's was brown. I think they were best friends or a couple(I forgot). I remember that their was a scene where they were fighting each other and the male was very injured by the female and another scene where the male went to the restroom and someone who looked just like him abducted the male and took his place. The only difference between the male and his doppelganger was that the male was joyful or like showed lots of energy and emotion while the doppelganger was emotionless or looked serious all the time.
They were live action of course but had more drama and story to it for its time at least and most of the time they were fighting against others like themselves no monsters.
It would be great if someone can help me, pls reply if you can thank you very much
Edited by bl9738openSome book about some kid, and there are some olives at one point Literature
Pretty much all I remember about this book is that there was a young boy as the protagonist, who I think was a thief of some sort. At some point, he gets captured or something by this priest guy (I think), and there's a scene or two in an olive tree grove, which is where I think they get him. The only dialogue I can remember is something along the lines of "And gods damn you, too!", right after he gets done cursing at some other guy.
I think the kid's name may have been Daniel, but only because I seemed to read quite a few books with protagonists named Daniel or Thomas.
Edited by DeliciousTaffyopenKix network show about pink bunnies in a giant robot? Anime
I'm not entirely sure if it was a dubbed anime or a western piss-take of anime, but it was this stylized CGI show about a trio of rabbits (one or more of which were pink) who piloted a giant robot against some other asshole who would constantly throw new robots into town to screw things up. This has been annoying me for ages and I need to at least know the name of this show. If you guys could help it would be massively appreciated.
openAn anime about people with half-superpowers Anime
So one day a friend of mine showed me an episode from an anime. The show was about characters that had superpowers that were just kinda off. Like for example, the main character can possess other people's bodies, but only for a few seconds. Another character could turn invisible, but only for one person, and everyone else saw them like normal. And also another character could run super fast, but they can't stop until they hit something. The main character had to go to this new school for people with these half-superpowers, and he also had a little sister. Does anyone know what this show is?
openThat cartoon where everything was powered by crystals Western Animation
Kind of anime style. Everything was powered by blue crystals and there were a lot of flying machines. It followed a group of teens(?) searching for rare crystals which did different things depending on there shape and colour. One of them was called Finn and they had a sort of gian squirrle as a pet/companion called Radar. It was on a few years ago on a channel similar to Cartoon Network.
openTOY THAT COMPLAINED WHEN YOU SMACKED IT
Late 90's/ early 2000's, I had these two toy/dolls. They looked like fuzzy ball things with eyes. They were covered in fur, one was blue, the other was red. If you dropped, bumped, or smacked it, it would start whining.
openNeed help with a Show's name I can't recall Western Animation
I used to watch children's show around 2003-4-5 something and I can't figure out what it's called! I was about these shapes that lived in a kid's bedroom and those shapes were character with arms and legs. There also was a magic mirror with an old guy that all the shapes went to for help and stuff. One shape I remember is James...a green triangle with braided red hair and a star that wore disco pants. I know the descriptions are a bit absurd, but that's the best I can describe them.
openAn Animated Kids Show (1995-2006?)
I can't remember the name of this show no matter how hard i try so here i go asking here.
Animated, Probably a kids show, Around 1995-2006, it was about at least one guy that could transform into rescue equipment or vehicles to save people or stop something bad. Its not Super Force, Transformers or Power Rangers. Thanks
openThree Children's Books Literature
I remember reading three children/pre-teen novels when I was younger. This was probably around the early 2000's but the books were most likely much older, possibly from the 80s or 90s.
The first book was about a family where their new stepsister is a witch and teaches the younger children witchcraft. One particular part I remember is that they talked about familiars and how every witch or warlock had to have one. (Found this one. It's The Headless Cupid)
The second book was about a girl who was a bit full of herself. I remember a part where she gets a baby grand piano thinking it's a tiny piano only to find out its humongous. She also read a book called "How To Win Friends and Influence People" or something along those lines to try and have better relationships with people. If I remember correctly, the title of the book was her name and it started with a V.
The third book is about two friends who make their own advice column. At one point they track everything they eat to help someone who wants to lose weight. The parts with the advice column looked handwritten and the pages were a different colour. Another part of the book has their class at school release balloons with messages and one of the girls gets free subs from a restaurant because her letter landed on their roof. The other girl's letter traveled to a farm in upper New York state,
Edited by axelsonfireopen"Turning of the Sun" song Music
Heard this song on the radio. Epic Rocking, but sounded more late 70s/early 80s AOR than prog-rock. I only heard the beginning and end of it. It started off with outer-space synthesizer sounds like on Steve Miller's "Fly Like an Eagle" and ended with a guitar riff and a refrain that went, "Turning of the sun, turning of the sun." Googling the lyrics only brings up songs by Rihanna and Nana Mouskouri, and I'm pretty sure we can rule both artists out. What the hell did I listen to?
Edited by BananaquitopenWhat is the name of that older TV Series and Episode kids Show Film
What's the name of that tv series and episodes maybe from late 90's to 2000's where there's a kind of a war between a group of kids chasing after another group of kids on Hover craft motor cycles and it's set in the future and theres kids in a raft or boat with a orange glowing energy source or generator ball named ojay and the orange ball talks and I think is from another planet. If anyone knows the name of this older tv show please let me know ASAP. Thank You P.S. The TV Show Might be similar in a way to the show Grand Star where there are no rules or laws in a world with an apocalyptic and/or dystopian society future.
openEdutainment cartoon Western Animation
There was this cartoon that i watched on TV when I was a kid. it was called "The What Now Family" or "The how-now family" or something like that, and the show was always about some family member explaining how something works. There was one guy called Max who explained mechanics and technology, and there was a baby...
Edited by MichaelKatsuroopenI can't remember this show Live Action TV
It was a show which was like a murder mystery. This guy went on a morning run and discovered a dead body of either his neighbors son or daughter. Anyway, he calls the police and everything but for some reason everyone in the town including the police, thinks the man killed the child; when of course he didn't. The chief of police has it out for him but he denies it was him. In the end I think his daughter was the one who killed the child.
I have no idea what the name of this show was, but I was halfway through it like 2 years ago and I ever got to finish it. If someone could help that' be great, thanks.
open Trying to remember that cartoon show from around mid Live Action TV
I am trying to remember a cartoon I saw when I was a child. I remember watching the show at a place between 93 to 97, I think. It was about two girls who were sisters. One were some years older than the other one. They could have been like 16 and 10. I think I remember that they had french names. I remember them being at some kind of orphanage but I am not sure. it's not Madeline. I remember them being treated not very fair. There were many episodes. Throughout the shows they were looking to find their parents. For some reason they had been separated from them. I remember one of the last shows thought they were in the jungle and a cruel man had kidnapped them and I think they were trying to get away. I don't remember it as a funny cartoon but more of a serious kind. Does this ring any bell to you guys?
openNo Title Western Animation
I watched this cartoon in the nineties; it might have been something Harvey Comics based, but I am not sure. A dinosaur egg hatches in modern times, and the dinosaur (Brontosaurus like) considers a hen his mother. When people are trying to show him to the public, the dinosaur is just lying there crying, missing his mom, so the crowd thinks the dinosaur is a fake and demands the money back. It ends with the family reunited, and the dinosaur giving a proper show by being a living slide for his mom and "siblings".

Okay, so this has been years, but I remember the concept of the Fanfiction. Aelita made it into Heaven (literally, I'm afraid). Then Jeremie (having taken a sleep pill) falls asleep, heartbroken that she died. Suddenly he sees her there. It more or less ends with Jeremie entering Heaven as well (only one chapter) and Odd discovering the death of the genius the next morning. (In that fan fic, XANA was already dead.) Problem is, I am having difficulty finding which one it was. All I remember from the ending is that Odd ran down the hallway screaming Jim's name in a Say My Name fashion.
Anyone want to help me out with this?
