openZombie Movie Film
I watched a terrifying clippet of a film as a kid, and am trying to find it for closure.
There was a young woman with brown hair and a white jacket. (My child mind identified her as Lindsay Lohan, but that may not be right) She went into a garage looking for somebody. She slipped on blood and found the person she was looking for suspended above her. A zombie stands up and uses a garage door closer to close the door behind her. She is stuck with him in there. I believe the scene switches, and when it returns she is cowering in a corner while the zombie is holding a fire extinguisher or flame thrower. She shouts, "No, NO!" and screams as he sprays her with it. The cinematography reminded me of a movie, but it may have been a tv show in the same style of CSI.
EDIT: The face and hand of the zombie bear a close resemblance to The Fisherman from the I Know series, but the zombie's skin was just a bit darker.
EDIT: The actress in question was not Lindsay Lohan, though she did resemble her appearance from Herbie Fully Loaded. I will, check out the I Know movies to see if they are in fact what I'm looking for.
Edited by KyleRen2K16openDOS game-Frigate Commander? Videogame
Not much to go on here, sorry. This game I remember watching my cousins play on thier PC when I was a little kid (am 19 now for timeframe reference). All I remember is a 2d underwater view of battleships shooting at submarines , and the " units lost" screen it displayed at the end of each game. It was a war memorial silhouetted against a sunset. Little girl me always found it rather depressing.
EDIT: Brother remembers the game pretty clearly, says it's called Frigate Commander. The problem is that I can't find jack shit about it on the internet, only an obviously different text based game. Anyone know anything else?
Edited by RomanReigns4PrezopenDairy computer game from the 1980s?
My mom remembers that the computer at her school had a game where you ran a dairy farm. She thinks it had "Dairy" in the title. Any ideas?
openMagdelene's/Madeline's Quest??????? Live Action TV
do you remember this show It was one of those low -budget live action kids/teens shows, i watched it on Australian TV some time during the 2000s. it was like a fantasy setting. the main character was a girl and her name was (i think) something like madeline/magdelene, and she was like a teenager, and had( i think) orange/brown hair she was part of like a gypsy/romani-esque group of people, like they lived in caravans and travelled and stuff. I remember an episode where they were travelling through a forest and one of the characters made fake bird wings and was flying, but got caught in a trap set by the enemies. and i'm like 75% sure the title was like the main characters name then quest - so like "_____'s quest"
i also remember finding a book based on it in the kids section of my town's old library. The cover was the main girl on a side on view, resting her foot on a rock or something with her hands on her hips. She might've been holding a sword. there was also a website based on the show, where you navigated it by clicking on the different caravans.
nobody i ask seems to remember it, and there's too many details i remember for me to accept i dreamt it up.
Edited by mrbanneyopenfnaf song

Edited by cake64openKid Cartoon Shrinked Princess
There's this cartoon I remember I used to watch couple years ago. I remember what it was about I just don't know the title. It's set out in a medieval setting with a group of friends going on a quest to lift a curse on their princess who has been shrinked. In the group there are 3 kids, a wizard girl whose spells always go wrong, a Asian Kung-fu/karate kid, and another boy who I don't remember much about. There was an knight in the group who was strong and handsome but dumb. They travelled in a cart pulled by a tiny horse. I don't remember much about the bad guy other than he had a henchman who was a giant talking cockroach. That basically summarises the entire show and I just need the title, thanks.
opensci-fi-esque cartoon about a girl living in water (not a mermaid!) Western Animation
I remember watching a cartoon on the German channel Super RTL during the 90s (possibly 00s) about a girl that lived in water (not a mermaid), had dark hair (ponytail?), dressed in pink/purple. There was also a guy that lived on land, dark hair, and they were friends (maybe romance?). He was dressed in blue (pants, tunic-like shirt). There was also an evil woman who was their enemy. She was tall, skinny, dressed in a floor-length black robe, and her head looked like a frilled-neck lizard (Chlamydosaurus kingii). I can't remember anything else, unfortunately. Does anyone have any ideas?
openLooking for a folk-pop song overheard in a bank Music
Hello! This is gonna be hella vague and probably a bit of a challenge, since I heard it so fuzzily, but it REALLY struck me with how quality it was. I heard the following: -Folk-pop track, pretty new-sounding, probably not more than 10 years old -Female vocalist, sounded white and American -Swoopy vocals on the chorus, going up and down rapidly. Either that or very intense vibrato -Quiet acoustic guitar -Line about "packing my bags" and a line with an extended, drawn out "baby"
Thanks to anyone who helps
openkids cartoon with chain chomp-like robots, bugs Western Animation
So I vaguely remember having a VHS of these characters that may have been bugs of tiny people (I think they were bug things, I remember some of them flying) and the only episode I remember is when the bad guys send these big robot things that I believe resemble chain chomp from mario, with big mouths, but also with two long legs. The good guys eventually do something like spray the robots with pollen or something and the robots start malfunctioning, spazzing all over the place. I also remember big drilling machines... Any ideas?
openthe life of a modern day vampire Literature
My friend told me about a book, and I really want to know if anyone else has heard of it. Mind you, this is a second hand summery from something I heard about nearly ten years ago, but I'll do may best. It was about this normal vampire boy, who didn't really want to be a vampire. He was in love with this popular girl, and at one point he turned into a bad so he could watch her undress. There was also this other girl, who was friends with the love interest. She shared a name with the author (Loretta, but I cannot recall what the last name was) At one point, Loretta goes to a church to sit in the confessional just to see what it's like. At the end of the book, Vamp boy asked the Love interest out, and she says yes, only for him to be shot by her boyfriend. They're still at school, mind you. He dies, but with his last breath he tells his love interest that he's a vampire, and she's disgusted. The end. My friend said the book looked like it was either vanity publishing, or a very small run. A part of me thinks my friend made this up to mess with me, but i'm hoping maybe someone could give me a lead. I've tried googling the tittle "The Life of a Modern Day Vampire" along with the author's first name. Nothing has come up. It's also worth noting the friend who told me about it is in New Mexico.
openPurple mop sidekick character? Western Animation
I'm look for a kids TV show (maybe from the 90's to early 2000's) where there is a purple mop looking monster. I'm pretty sure it was based in a castle and the main character might have been a witch? The only thing I remember was that there was a cute purple mop looking monster with eyes. Please help me find it! :(
openCartoon from the mid-2000s Western Animation
Can't remember much about it. Protagonist was a little girl who visited a zoo at night. I distinctly remember her sliding out her window on the neck of a giraffe, but not much else. I think she could talk to them.
openHogs Hollow or Eve or something Film
Name of the movie where the opening shows the world as a flat disk and is on the back of four hogs and which are on the back of a turtle and the main character is the niece of death and has a white streak of hair which normally is brown and the general theme of the movie is christmasy and the holiday they are celebrating has the word hog in it somehow. I also believe they were all british.
Edited by kaepeaopenChildren's Book involving letters and bubbly ladies Literature
This is a children's book which takes place in the 90s. It's about a young boy who lives with his grandmother, and I'm fairly sure the title/one main plot point of the book is that he received letters from his mother (who may or may not be dead). He and his grandma are kind of boring and shut in until they get a new tenant or nanny for him. She is an attractive young woman who makes them open up the windows and live life type of thing, and the kid also makes friends with a neighbor girl, and they get into some weird adventures, including sneaking a kitten to school in their classroom. They boy's name may start with the letter "E."
openAnimated show where teens/children read myths? Western Animation
I remember this show where two teens (maybe children ), I think a guy and a girl, read various books and myths? I remember the guy wore blue and the girl wore pink and there was an episode about King Midas... They learned lessons and stuff? Would be early 2000's, I can't for the life of me remember the name!
I thought it might be a segment on Between The Lions, but it's not... Sorry that there's so little to go on!
NEVERMIND, it was Adventures from the Book of Virtues!
Edited by IanthinaopenChildren's book about zebra curious as to how many stripes it has
I am looking for a children's picture book about a young zebra who was asking other animals how may stripes it had. The only parts of dialogue I remember is the hippo saying "One, two, three....a lot." and at the end the zebra's relation, I think its mother or grandma or something, said "Too many for a tiger, not enough for a mongoose, but enough for a zebra." What is this book called?
openLooking for a specific episode of Detective Conan Anime
Here is what I'm sure about this episode :
1) Aired in France before January 2006 : because I'm sure I watched it when I was still living in an appartment that me and my family left in early December 2005, so it must have been from a season before this .
WARNING : Spoilers ahead !!!
2) The plot goes around a woman using sleeping pills to help in the murder of a young girl
3) I think ( but am not sure ) that Conan confronts her with the murder by night
I would be mad with joy if someone can recover this episode for me . I distinctly remember watching it in the appartment living-room while someone was taking a shower, and me eating a candy in front of the TV set , being blasted by the plot twist at the end which for the young boy I was in those days was amazing and heartwrenching. It fed my nightmares for months afterward and has always been somewhere in the attic of my mind and memories . Arigato gozaimasu !
Thunder.
Edited by Nuup-KangerluaopenChinese cartoon Anime
This is probably a pretty old cartoon by this point. Let me start by saying it is not avatar. The main characters are three chinese kids who fight an evil sorcerer to parts of something, mayby parts of a treasure map but I think its some kind of artifact. One of the kids is a girl who fights with like whips and lives in a kind of monastary with monks. Leading the monks is a wise old sterotypical master. The second kid weilds like a pipe or some kind of staff. the last kid just uses a sword.
openJaws of a T-rex/monster coming up from underground Film
I never watched this movie, but remember seeing the cover of the VHS in video-rental stores when I was a kid - probably mid-late 90s, 2000/2001 at the most recent. It looked a lot like the cover of Jaws, except with a T-Rex or similar monster's jaws coming upwards through the ground and some people standing at the top. It scared the crap out of 6-year-old me and I'd like to know what it is just for curiosity's sake. (I always thought it was a T-rex or other dinosaur as a kid, but seeing as Google's giving me nothing for that, I'm starting to think it was something else. Anything about "movie cover with jaws" is just giving me various Jaws posters.)
I'm not sure where I saw it, but there was a live action scene in a film or show where a big baddie type character was advancing on the hero, so the hero picked up two cannonballs and smashed them against the guys head a few times. Seemingly unfazed by this, the bad guy slowly turns around, spits out a mouthful of teeth, then collapses. Whats this from? Anyone know what I'm talking about?
