Find a Trope:

Do we have a trope for when a character dies or before performing a Heroic Sacrifice, they give all their power to the person they have the closest relationship to? I can't find it on Death Tropes.
Going to go take to the YKTTW if no one objects.

Is there a trope for when a character is a bigot, but in a "caring", "benevolent" (and eventually hypocritical) way? The first example that comes to mind is Ms. Morello, from Everybody Hates Chris, who is essentially racist, but it manifests by her thinking that black people are all poor things below the poverty-line (her Race Fetish is unrelevant in this example).

Is there an existing trope for media, especially slice-of-life type anime, where introducing characters to the story acts as a major expenditure of the story's space? I'm thinking as an archetype the anime Hand Maid May where every episode (except maybe two) introduces a new character into the main cast and they stay for most of the rest of the show. Rozen Maiden and Ah! My Goddess do this to a lesser extent. Sort of a Defeat Means Friendship gone mad?
openTranslation keeps original grammar
This is when an expression in a foreign language is translated too literally, preserving the original's grammar structure so it looks weird in the new language. Very commonly seen in the names for MagicalNativeAmericans and the like. E.g. "Runs-In-The-Wind" instead of "Wind-Runner".
(edit: added title.)

What's that trope where someone is presented something crazy, extraordinary, or magical...but the first thing they notice or comment on is something completely minor by comparison.
Ex) Bob lives in the real world. He is then shown giant dragon by his friend, and said dragon has a pink stripe on its head. The first thing Bob asks is, "Why is there a pink stripe on his head?" instead of "What the fuck, is that a dragon?!?!"

Is there a version of Be as Unhelpful as Possible that isn't involved with any sort of investigation? As in "We could help you, but that would get us in trouble." But it's not like they're going to stop the heroes that try, or agreeing with the villains. They're just staying out of the way, and it's purely inaction out of fear, so you can't hate them for it.

A running passerby bumps into the protagonist, usually against his or her shoulder. He promptly apologizes and continues on his way. Later, the protagonist realizes that his wallet is missing. That guy stole it!
This trope shows up absolutely everywhere. I could name ten instances of this "bump-into theft" right here and now if I wanted to, but I just can't pinpoint what it's called...

Scene in Buffy The Vampire Slayer I really want to put a trope to. Scott had dumped Buffy and Faith sees him with another girl. So during the Homecoming party she goes over to the two of them and makes like she's an ex who she got some sexually transmitted diseases from to scare off Scott's date. What's there that's tropeable?

I need clarification on a trope. What trope covers police forces that turn out to be ineffective at taking down any given criminal, with said criminals having superpowers or some nasty gadgets? I'm thinking Police Are Useless, however, most of that trope's description is more on police or other organizations not believing what someone says about a situation. I am not sure what to say about it.

In the fourth book of the Inheritance Cycle, an ancient dragon talks to Eragon about "beams of light turning into waves of sand" and "seemingly solid objects mostly being made up of empty space". Since modern particle physics doesn't really fit with the Inheritance universe, this is clearly just a joke of some sort. What trope covers that?

Is there a name for the Dead Horse Trope in which someone visiting a mental hospital is greeted by an apparent employee, only for it to turn out that the person they're talking to is a patient who only thinks they're a doctor/nurse/receptionist?
Do we have a trope for when a non-hero character dies heroically, and their actions are recongnized as especially brave or noble by a character unlikely to do so lightly, usually a Jerkass or Proud Warrior Race Guy? Often comes with allowing them to be buried with honors, or by traditions of the race or clan, which would otherwise be forbidden them as outsiders. Trope is the recognition, not the death. This Girl Genius page is a pretty good example, but I know I've seen it in a lot of other works.
