  1. Make sure the entries have context, i.e. why the music is awesome.
  2. No entries on fan remixes.
  3. It's a good idea to have at least a couple entries for such a page.
Not listed on Awesome Music, but these are widely accepted standards.

And regarding #1, Weblinks Are Not Examples; don't just post a YouTube link to a song title. Saying a song is awesome (or one or more synonyms thereof) isn't context; why is it awesome? A quote from the lyrics can be part of the description, but not the entire description (and definitely not the entire example; at the very least, the title must be included).

As for #2, if there are live versions for some songs by the band themselves that differ significantly from the studio versions, they can be included on the page (see AwesomeMusic.The Grateful Dead for many examples), but no covers (live or studio) by other artists, not even professional musicians; they go on the cover artists' own pages.

And for #3, at least three entries is a good bare minimum. Depeche Mode got together over forty years ago, so I'm sure it's not difficult to find more examples than that.
