Also, mate, that page was last edited six months ago. Are you sure that wasn't discussed, because I feel someone else would've noticed by now.

Sorry for the lack of courtesy link; still not quite used to using text code.

As far as I'm aware, their wasn't any apparent discussion made in regards to the vehicles pantheon, else-wise their would have been some form of discussion on the discussion page pertaining to all the respective entry examples.

What's more, the fact that a shockingly large majority of vehicles uplifted to the vehicle pantheon were seemingly not only deleted in mass, but given no reason, justification or at least explanation into why their deletion was deemed necessary in the edit citations; casts doubt on wither their was any discourse made prior to an alleged edit to delete to be made to such an extensive and broad degree, despite the various pantheon vehicles that were deleted actually did have justified, established reasons for addition to the pantheon.

Even entire Vehicle Class Categories were removed, which would be important to the categorizing of the vehicles into their preservative pantheon class types, thus the categories being removed as well, raises some additional, even heavier suspicions.

Although as far as why no one noticed until now, to be fair the site is quite large, it's content quite extensive, and the pantheon section is admittedly esoteric to some degree, and the vehicle pantheon is somewhat even more esoteric; could just been a case where it may have gotten overlooked until this point.

Admittedly, the vehicle pantheon is one of the few trope pantheons I payed the most attention to in the past. Unfortunately I haven't visited that particular page the past seven months until just today, so admittedly it was under my radar because I wasn't on the site or on that page until today.

We have a whole forum thread where we discuss everything pertaining to the project. We don't use each page's discussion page because they would get bloated in a hurry.

As for what happened to Vehicles, I don't remember the discussion about it anymore, but frankly that's because it was, as pointed out, six months ago and the thread is constantly moving on to something else. Either way, a lot of people in the thread keep a close eye on any changes and would be quick to undo anything that wasn't approved. So yeah, that mass deletion was most likely approved. Just because something is in the Pantheon at one point, it doesn't mean it will be there forever, especially if it fails to meet certain standards of quality. On the other hand, there's a possibility some of those profiles were moved to other pages.

Ah, I guess I might have missed the memo than. Sorry for the false alarm than. My time working on other wiki's has made me kind of inoculated to assume the worst in situations like this.

I did some quick digging and seems that the old entries were apparently not so much deleted out-right but apparently moved to new pages, namely the Omniverse Museum's Pantheon of Museum Vehicles.

So I apologize, I was too quick to jump the gun and assume the worst; so that's an error on me.

In light of this information however, given how both the vehicle pantheon and Museum Vehicles pantheon are at least closely related: would it be prudent to maybe have them contain links leading to each other, perhaps even treat them as "sister pages" of a sort, as well as some pantheon appropriate flavor text for each page?

Probably best to ask this in the thread.

This matter was discussed: I informed you as such on both the discussion page and the Pantheon discussion forum. Please be more careful next time, putting a troper at risk for an offence they didn't commit is never a good thing.

Nightelf got suspended for this, by the way, despite not actually doing anything wrong.

There is, actually, a relevantly wrong thing that they did. They forgot to use the edit reasons to LINK to the discussion. That's the purpose behind edit reasons. DON'T forget about it, just because you discussed stuff in a thread. New editors need to be able to see that sort of discussion, too.
