Abridged series in Fan Works vs. Web Video/Web Animation has been discussed before. I don't remember the conclusion.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Inconclusive based on past discussions. Best place to continue the debate is in Wiki Talk: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=14237779790A64263300&page=1#1

A troper moved the entry from Dragon Ball Z Abridged in Actually Quite Catchy from the "Web Video" folder to a newly created "Fan Works" folder.
It was my understanding that we should keep samples as much as possible within the folder of their media's name-space, and that "Fan Works" is too much of a generic catch-all (because fan works can be all kinds of media). Is there a policy for this?
Also, they removed the year-designation of two disambiguated titles (still linking to the right media). What's the policy for this? Personally, I would say that the title with year is clearer because you immediately know which version is being referred.
