I think the answer to the question as asked is Unreliable Voiceover.
Once More, with Clarity might apply, but it is a specific setup of the same flashback shown two or more times, each time with a new understanding of what's really going on. The first flashbacks could have someone lying or at least mistaken about what happened before the clarity is added later.
What do you call a flashback that shows what really happened over the voice of an Unreliable Narrator?
