Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.

Do they involve The Muppets, do they use tropes? If the answer to both of the above is "yes" then it seems fairly clear cut to me.
Disambiguation: The page in question is Film.TheMuppets, not Main.TheMuppets.
Ah, sorry, that does make it less clear cut I'll admit. If the tropes in question are for the film and its promotional material I'd still put it in page for that film. I can see how it could be more contentious though, especially if there is a novelization tie-in. If there is enough of them I'd suggest a soft-split for novelisation tropes, but if there is only a handful my instinct would just be to note it in the trope example.
I am the one who was deleting that material. The most problematic thing that I saw was two references to a "junior novel" of The Muppets. I can't see how material from media other than the film should be in the web page about the film.
There's a bit of an edit war going on on the The Muppets page regarding whether or not tropes from promotional materials and tie-ins should be on the page.
So, should they?
