The cutlist is a neverending stream of pages and mods can and should be forgiven for taking cut requests at face value. They can restore a cut page, so wait for them to see this.

I've done so. I think we need to make it much more prominent when a cut request is challenged.

I've been picking away at making a page for the Overcooked! franchise for a little while now—I had a draft on my Sandbox page, which I first put up December 26th. Now, the franchise had a sort-of page before that—there was an itty bitty stub for the second game in the franchise (Overcooked! 2), but it didn't cover the whole series. I finally launched that draft yesterday, and cutlisted what I assumed was the old stub.
Except... I looked at the page afterwards, and sometime in the interim, someone had expanded the stub to a true page. (I think the history showed it had happened Jan 2nd or something.) Whoops, my bad, should've checked to see if someone had given some wiki love to the original page... but I figured it wasn't a big deal since, clearly being a proper page and not a stub, it wouldn't get cut. And I was planning to spend today collating the pages so the first page was more about franchise/first game tropes and the second was more about sequel tropes.
Except... the page for Overcooked! 2 DID get cut, despite having been expanded upon. This also means the history is blanked, so it's not easy to restore. Unless I just... imagined it, somehow? But somehow I doubt that... I messed up by cutlisting it in the first place, but I'm nonetheless surprised it got cut... what should I do now?
