Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

I do feel the need to warn you that both of you are Edit Warring. Delete > re-add > re-delete > re-add.
Page history. That said, when they re-deleted the first time, it's imperative you report them here on the spot and not participate any further in the Edit War.
I wasn't thinking about it in the moment because I wasn't strictly removing tropes, only commenting them out, but you are right. That won't happen again.
Re-commenting out ZCE is 100% an edit aimed at fixing the wiki and enforcing our rules. I believe mods have said that edits like this are not considered edit warring.
However, it's kinda futile work and reporting that behaviour is usually necessary to stop it. Also, re-commenting out ZCE takes valuable time and effort, and it can be easily fixed by mods with a system revert.
I talked to Duncril01 and explained why uncommenting Zero-Context Examples was bad. They seem to understand and have vowed to do better.
Maybe wait a few days and see if they follow through?
Edited by birdsinthewindowTheir recent edits seem to be more constructive, though I don't really know the fandoms they work in well enough to judge. Can someone more familiar with anime, Marvel, and Pokemon than I am take a look?
The user Duncril 01 (link to edit history: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/el.php?findfor=Duncril01 ) keeps uncommenting zero-context examples in the Pokémon Villain: Team Aqua/Magma character sheet. I've tried sending him messages/notifiers, but he ignores them and seemingly can't understand that the reason that the tropes are commented out is that they lack context.
