That sounds like misaimed hatedom, which is Misaimed Fandom, yeah. Just something like "people complain that this is promoting solving problems with brawn when star trek is normally pro-brains, missing that the entire reason Picard learned to embrace nonviolence is that he nearly got killed in this fight". Rephrased to actually be accurate to the work, of course.
