Conservation of Ninjutsu

We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza

It's two tropes rather than one.

The first part's due to Scott being the Sentinels worst nightmare, 'cuz his mutant ability is so OP that their shields are rendered useless. So each time they show up, Scott gets free target practice.

The other part with Rogue falls under So Last Season. What what used to be a major threat is now either manageable, or only a minor nuisance due to the cast growing accustomed to dealing with said threat. Or the cast has simply become stronger by then.

Nailed it 4tell0life4. Thanks!

Miinu I appreciate the help. But it’s not “so last season.” As the x-men didn’t train or improve in anyway in between the first and second episode. I don’t believe more than 2-4 days even passed. There was no logical reason given as to why they struggled so much against the first sentinel, but could do easily take on a whole factory of them 2 days later.

But your right about Scott’s ability being so OP. Another good read!

^Ah, I missed the part where you said it was only "one episode later". My mistake.
