"Blind Idiot" Translation

We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza

I'm not sure that counts. I took a brief look there, and all the examples were about genuine mistakes, usually ones that ruin a punchline in a joke or otherwise makes the text stop making sense. What I mean are changes that seem to be there just for the sake of changing something, and that don't really affect things. Sort of like a Dub Name Change for other things than names.

Doesn't sound like a trope then.

It feels tropeable. Might be worth taking to TLP, if you think there's enough examples.

^ No it isn't.

"What I mean are changes that seem to be there just for the sake of changing something, and that don't really affect things" means that there's no reason for it to happen. Therefore it isn't a trope.

We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenza
