I think fanfics should be troped under the work the example is from. One of several reasons is that you wouldn't alphabetize a DC/MCU crossover under C.
Creator > Work A > work a. So... Johnny Cash's At Folsom Prison album with "Boy Named Sue" would be alphabetically under C, while the At Folsom Prison album with "Boy Named Sue" would be alphabetically under A, and just listing "Boy Named Sue" would be alphabetized under B. Whichever gets listed first works. This makes it easier for Example Indentation when adding something for "One Piece At A Time" or "Ring Of Fire".

When Alphabetizing fanfics should it be done by the name of the fanfic or by the work it belongs to?
And when alphabetizing Music, should it be by the name of the band/singer or by the song's title?
