Forgetting the fundamental part or just the "extra" part?

Depends on the example I guess. I just know that in the examples I have, the party is considered a bust because people forgot to get chips/cups (in one) or beer (in another).

If all three of those were missing, it would be Asymmetric Dilemma.

Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.
