Thanks for that, though what I was looking for was potions outside of games, like in the myths and folklore that predated and inspired Tolkien and Dunsany, etc.
Do we have a supertrope for magic potions in general? Consumable items, even? Should we? Edit: Nvm, Power-Up Food seems flexible enough.
