The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at You Know, That Thing Where.
After glancing over the Super-Persistent Predator page, I would call what you're looking for an inversion. Rather than following the protagonists to the ends of the earth, the predator determinedly stays in the same spot and refuses to leave, even after the prey has left and it would make much more sense for the predator to move on.
(I don't know anything about Land of the Lost, so I can't make a judgement based on that example.)
Well with the example I made, it's more of a case of the same predator coming back to get specific prey over again in that same area. With the grumpy example, the protagonists are always terrorized by him but they drive him off.
Is there a trope for when a specific individual animal is always found in an area as an antagonist well beyond when it should've left. I want to differenciate it from Super Persistant Predator because that would mean it chases its prey far longer from its territory as possible.
An example would be Grumpy from Land of the lost
