The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at You Know, That Thing Where.
Psychic Link: Contrary to the name, the characters involved don't actually have to be psychic. It's possible for them to simply know each other that well, or one of them could be an Empath.
Yuka and Satomi's (from Variable Geo) bond is so strong that they share an unexplainednote rapport with each other. Which allows Yuka to sense what Satomi is feeling, or if she's in danger, without Satomi having to say a word - even when she's across town!
Edited by MiinUMay also be the more specific Mindlink Mates.
^ Is there a trope covering a platonic version of Mindlink Mates? The two characters I'm talking about aren't romantically involved. (They're not siblings either, to be clear.)
Edited by CyokieRevott^Yes, that's covered by Psychic Link.
You might want My Significance Sense Is Tingling? (Miin U linked to it above.) But Psychic Link is flexible, and if it happens a lot, that's probably the better trope.
Might just be a Gut Feeling. Could result in I'm Crying, but I Don't Know Why.

Is there a trope for relationships where one or more of the participants can actually feel when the other is in pain/danger/etc.? I'm not talking about supernatural examples, because they're not actually supposed to have powers—it's apparently just a result of their closeness. As such, when I say they can "feel" when the other is in pain/danger/etc., I mean they know.
