Edit: Actually, that's limited to characters in The Future. You might try Disco Dan, but that kind of character goes a bit farther then simply liking older things. Not sure if we have this one exactly.

I agree with you about why Disco Dan is an imperfect fit. If I get to put an example to put in whatever Troper Tales is going to turn into, I'm the butt of my own joke that my music tastes are older than I am, but there is recently-released music that I like too. (Add for clarification: What I'm thinking of, in this case, emphasizes the fact that I like music from before my birth.)

Is there a trope where a character is notable for liking specific "old" things like flip clocks, the Beatles, silent movies, etc.? I know Still The Eighties is related but it seems too broad for what I'm looking for.
