If people are repeatedly adding in content that was previously removed, then it is an edit war already.

Fan-Preferred Couple needs to be more popular then the Official Couple. With this in mind, I'm not sure many of those examples on the page fit at all.

I am not at all familiar with the work, but Fate/stay night has two characters named Gilgamesh and Saber who are apparently a Fan-Preferred Couple in the fandom. Problem being, there seems to be editing disagreement on whether the nature of the ship needs to be commented on—again, I'm unfamiliar with the work, but apparently the relationship is unhealthy in-universe.
There seems to be a problem with people commenting on the unhealthy nature of the ship, followed by another person (usually the troper Scabbard, though several tropers are editing on this) getting rid of said commenting.
Considering the point is just that it's a Fan-Preferred Couple, regardless of the nature of said ship, should there be some kind of hidden comment to not make "even though" additions to it? This seems like an edit war in the making.
