Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Our plagiarism rule is for copyright infringement purposes and TV Tropes can't possibly infringe TV Tropes's copyright, so it's okay. The description provided shouldn't be any worse than the quality of the game's translation, so the Translation Party option probably isn't a good idea.
Okay, thank you.
So I added a page for Book of Mario: Thousands of Doors, a fan translation of the Thousand Year Door. What I'm wondering is: would it be acceptable to either copy the description for Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, but substitute the names with the ones from Book of Mario as a joke, or to run the TTYD description through several different translations? I want to avoid plagiarism, and I'd like to know if doing either of those things would qualify.
