Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

If the trope page doesn't say "this is trivia" or "this is based on opinion", the trope doesn't belong on the work's trivia or YMMV subpages.
Edited by Tenma-YuukiIt isn't Trivia or YMMV, so it goes on the main work page.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. Also it's best use the subtropes instead of the supertrope if examples apply to them.
Does Zeerust have subtropes?
Anyway, Zeerust is not Trivia because it's a part of the work that's there for everyone to see. And it's not really an audience reaction (it's a clash between the work's prediction of the future and how things really turned out, so it's not just in the mind of the audience) and not subjective either, hence not YMMV.
"clash between the work's prediction of the future and how things really turned out" is actually Dewey Defeats Truman. Zeerust is purely about aesthetics and doesn't require the present to have caught up to the future of the work.

I'm looking to add examples of Zeerust to Aniara. My question is: shouldn't Zeerust go on the YMMV or Trivia page? I seems like it should, but it doesn't say on the trope page. Or should I list specific subtrope examples instead (e.g. Science Marches On, Master Computer), and which page would they go on?
