No, the Characters button on any page links only to the same-titled page in the Characters namespace. To hard-split the page, the accepted practice would be to move Film.Constantine and all of its examples on the subpages to Film.Constantine 2005 and subpages (which would mean renaming Characters.Constantine Film to Characters.Constantine 2005), and Series.Constantine to Series.Constantine 2014. That would set up the page buttons to link only to related pages for the film and series, respectively, instead of being shared.

However, I don't see any problem with reworking Characters.Constantine to match the setup of Characters.Arrow, as you propose, since it's still just a list of links to other Characters pages. That's just a more elaborate version of how the page is set up now. Just leave the link to Characters.Constantine Film at the top, and edit the rest of the page below it.
