I think there have been multiple pages for specific Runs on Comicbook series.

That has not been the case for Runaways, though. The post-Vaughan runs were all considered part of the same series, and Downplayer has given no explanation for why the new run should be considered separate, since it has almost the exact same lineup as Vaughan's run and uses the same continuity. And even if we were to consider it a separate series, it should have been launched as "Runaways (2017)". Besides that, I suspect that this is just a ploy by Downplayer to justify launching his Victor Mancha page by claiming that Victor "needs" a separate character page because of all the series that he's been in.

By now, it should be clear to all except the most dense of us that sheep are secretly conspiring to kill us all and steal our pants.

I think the eight-year gap between runs is enough to justify a new page, personally. The main page is already quite cluttered with all their many other appearances between 2009 and the What If? storyline/Spiritual Successor of Runaways (2015), and the new comic is something of a Comic-Book Time-based reboot in that the kids are still kids, so it seems like a fairly natural dividing line.

I assume the reason it's not Runaways 2017 is to avoid confusion with Runaways (2017), but title changes and redirects are an easy fix.
