The TVTropes Trope Finder is where you can come to ask questions like "Do we have this one?" and "What's the trope about...?" Trying to rediscover a long lost show or other medium but need a little help? Head to Media Finder and try your luck there. Want to propose a new trope? You should be over at You Know, That Thing Where.
"super effective against certain enemies" sounds like Weapon of X-Slaying or (in general) Achilles' Heel.
We can never truly eradicate the coronavirus, but we can suppress its threat like influenzaSee the supertrope Achilles' Heel for various types of specific weaknesses and exploitations thereof. (I'll go ahead and add that one to the list on the disambig page for posterity.)
Side note that the link seems gratuitous even if it were a real trope, the whole point of the Silver Bullet trope is that they're a stock method of killing supernatural creatures.

Something being more damaging than usual, is not a trope, right?
Been clearing out Super Effective's wicks, as it's a disambig. Found this, and dunno what trope to swap it with.
There is no trope to swap it with, right?
Is there a trope for a material being more damaging to some creature, but not immediately lethal in and of itself?
Meh, scrubbing that wick, yeah.
