Yes, in the new update if a folder is too long it stops showing it's,s and messes up what's below it, so they will have been split to fix that. It's a useful if ugly function to tell you where folders should be (at the max point) split

I sometimes do this sort of thing if I feel a folder is getting too big. There are times when I have to debate myself on it like, say, when an "R-S" folder has countless "S" tropes, but only one "R" trope. If said "R" trope has multiple examples with each being explained by long paragraphs, that's one thing, but if it only has one example with one short sentence, then I don't consider it enough to separate.

I noticed that Wolf Thunder changed all the folders on YMMV.Super Smash Bros to make an individual folder for each letter (with the exceptions of the #-A folder and I-J folder). I don't know if this is part of a cleanup or adapting to the new layout or something (I'm not very active on the forums at all) but I'm just putting it out here.
