Even though this is not correct, a similar thing happened in the Sid The Science Kid movie, with the robot being destroyed by jokes.
Well, it's a stock way to feed a malfunctioning computer a Logic Bomb in more comedy-oriented series. The series I'm trying to identify was live-action, though, and from at least thirty years ago. (I think it had a laugh track, which makes me suspect it wasn't a film, feature or made-for-TV.)
Just going to bump this the once; if no-one replies to it before it slides off the front page, I'll just accept it as one of life's unsolvable mysteries for me.
Eureka / A Town Called Eureka perhaps?
Thanks for the guess, but that's definitely not it; that's at least twenty years too recent. This was from no later than the mid-1980s.

Years ago, I remember seeing an episode of a television series - fairly sure it was a sitcom rather than a drama or sci-fi series - in which three characters, including two men and a woman, were in a house where everything was controlled by a central computer. Inevitably, the computer broke its programming and started making life a living hell for the three. I quite vividly remember a scene where it forced them into the shower, fully clothed, and then switched the water on, and then in the climax of the episode, one of the two men gets the idea to feed the computer a Logic Bomb by telling a string of really awful jokes, which cause the computer to gibber incoherently and give off smoke before exploding. I even remember one of the jokes: "What do you call a row of rabbits walking backwards? A receding hairline." (Don't blame me, I didn't write it.)
However, the episode isn't listed under such likely tropes as Logic Bomb or A.I. Is a Crapshoot, and an IMDb keyword search has turned up empty. I'm almost certain it was an American series; it's definitely from no later than the mid-1980s, and it was in colour so I'm guessing it was from no earlier than the 1970s, but I have no idea what the series was. Anyone know?
