Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
It can count as copyright infringement and does count as plagiarism. So no.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWe don't allow copypasted stuff in the pages (Wikipedia show descriptions, etc) so I'm pretty sure that would be a rules violation.
Where did you find this? The mods will probably want to pull the person in for a chat.

Link, please?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHe's not even bothering to clean up markup that didn't transfer correctly, either. (At least I assume that's what's all those extra slashes are...)
Edited by DracMonsterNo, those're just the result of using certain kinds of punctuation in the review box.
No acknowledgement is a huge don't-do. And copyright issues. The mods are definitely gonna want to tap this fella on the shoulder.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry Pratchett
I mean... as much as that's both annoying and technically plagiarism, I'm not sure it's actually breaking any hard-and-fast rules.
