1. yes you can
2. it depends on why you want it renamed. if its for a mispelled title or an error you dont need consensus, you can just change it. you copy everything over from the source page and then paste it into the new title, then CUTLIST the old page. you can also make the old page a redirect to the new page, if it has wicks, although it is a good idea to just move the wicks over.
if its just a name you want changed, you should get consensus through TRS or other ways first

- Redirects should mostly be reserved for cases where the old title needs to be kept for searchability, or translated titles (i.e., use the english title for an anime but keep the japanese title as a redirect). If it's just that the old title has a lot of wicks, the wicks should be changed.
^^ DON'T clear the incorrectly titled page — that's an instant ban. Put it on the Cut List.

Posts without a medium selected are impossible to access after they disappear from the first page.

I've never had a problem searching ATT posts once they're off the page. But it works best if you search something in the typed text, not what's added by the site to identify user, date, time, etc.

Yeah, you can do that with an index, just make it clear that you want some help with it. Otherwise you'll get a bunch of people yelling at you that you don't need it take it through YTTTW.
