Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.

Back out the changes as you find them. Both opinions are a pain in the ass, but we don't want to be portraying a bias in favor of one over the other. Let us know if it turns into an edit war.

I and a few others have noticed that a couple of editors seem to be patrolling the YMMV page for the new Devil May Cry reboot, removing anything that shows the fans may have a legitimate concern about the game's quality and twisting everything as Fan Dumb to make them appear as overzealous assholes who need to stop crucifying poor old Ninja Theory. Something about this reeks of desperate damage control or someone desperately trying to make everyone else's opinions look bad while covering up the fact that they actually have a leg to stand on. Thing like pointing out that the director openly insulted the fans of the older games are deleted and the reasons for editing are always "keep personal opinions out," but isn't that the whole point of YMMV? That not everyone sees things the same way? Deleting and trying to silence an entire side of an argument seems like a pretty bullshit way to represent that. I made a post about this in the Wiki Talk forum and they directed me here, so I'd appreciate some closure on the matter.
