I don't find it an issue, if anything they help declutter the page. The obvious implication is that the main page is for entries that apply to the entire franchise or several entries in it, and that one-time examples should go to the appropriate page. I have seen countless cases where there were Memetic Mutation examples on specific games when the franchise has its own seperate page for it, and it was determined that the examples need to be moved. This is the same.
Space Battles Dot Com fanworks (unnoficial) index in my Sandbox.Fair enough, I'm just gonna go ahead and close this up due to a lack of activity.
I've noticed that there are several YMMV pages for franchises that contain a list containing pages to other works in the franchise, such as YMMV.Batman, YMMV.Marvel Cinematic Universe, YMMV.Superman, YMMV.Puyo Puyo, etc. However, I question the need for such lists. A part of me can understand that maybe they provide a useful link to YMMV tropes for specific works, but on the other hand, I feel all they really do is clutter up the page. Especially with long-running franchises like Batman and Superman, who have so many works that their franchise pages are just indexes for those works. But what do you think?
