There's World-Wrecking Wave for a spreading disaster and No Ontological Inertia when the world transforms after its ruler perished.

Need to know super fast for work, but I'm trying to figure out where I've seen a trope akin to "Fading Away", where it's the environment thats disappearing, not the character. I may be wrong on the fading part specifically, but the effect is that the world is semi-slowly but steadily (for tension) going bad and it's creeping closer and closer to the characters. My gut says it's from something animation but I haven't been able to find it myself. Any help would be appreciated, thx in advance!
