Maybe... but it's not clear if Nioi even had good intentions, or even if she's at all "Good". She only claimed to be helping.
Is there a trope for when someone does something as a "favor", but it turns out to be just as harmful as it is helpful, if not more?
Specifically, I'm talking about an early plot point in El Goonish Shive. Nioi shows up, and without actually receiving permission, implants an alternate universe version of Ellen's memories into her mind. This definitely helped her get used to being female, and gave her something to distinguish herself from Elliot, who she is a clone of. But now she has some trouble in history class because aliens weren't secret in the other universe, and she just about walled herself off from Tedd (who "used to be" her best friend) because she now had memories of two versions of him. And then there's the fact that Nioi actually invaded her mind and her alternate self's mind.
It's not Moral Dissonance, because that refers to the protagonist, which Nioi isn't.
