Thank you, but what if the disguise is still work despite how poor the acting of disguising character?
Cover Identity Anomaly doesn't require the disguise/act to fail. Paper-Thin Disguise doesn't require success, either. They aren't about how successful the character is.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.^^ That's Paper-Thin Disguise. That trope is about obvious flaws in a disguise not being picked up in-universe. Btw, there is another draft for poor acting in disguise under Master Of Disguise, Disaster Of An Actor.
There's the draft Master of Disguise, Disaster of an Actor currently languishing in TLP, about cases where the disguise is visually perfect, but the imitator does a terrible job of acting the part.
Is there a trope about a character being bad at disguising, but rather because how they act is easy to see-through? Like, A disguise to be B perfectly appearance-wise. only to act nothing like B.
Or just Paper-Thin Disguise is enough?
