They are right, but not in the smug way they intended. If its indeed true and the trailer confirms it, you are still correct in not adding them until confirmation.

The last time Extractor was brought up, it was for the exact opposite (someone adding in speculation and them removing it).
This is also the fifth time they've been reported this year on ATT, although no mod intervention has been needed so far.
If the trailer tomorrow confirms anything, then yes, it can be added. But they're being way too snarky about it.

Regardless of who's right (and they're not, we do not trope leaks/rumors) being rude in PMs is always the wrong way to deal with conflicts.

So The Extractor reply to me after I send them a rude notifier and how they respond is interesting... It's hard to explain but I think this troper tried to justify their action and will not understand what they doing is wrong. Edit: I shorten it because I add too much details.

Yeah, if I recall, the mods can read D Ms anyway. At this point, I do think a mod should get involved.
My big issue is how suspicious it is that they refuse to link to this apparent rule from the forums and deflected with passive aggressiveness. How hard is it to just link a forum post? Especially when you've sent numerous replies to different people about the edit that you're justifying with that post?
Right or wrong — and, as I've learned, it is wrong, they're not meant to add info from leaks — the way they went about it is just weird and not helpful to anyone.
Suspension applied. If someone does find the forum thread, post in there with a link to the post where it was decided, and tag me so that the moderation team can see it for the discussion. Locking this to prevent popcorn.

The Extractor added things relating to apparent leaks about Spider-Man: No Way Home to a few pages. I removed them, since my understanding is we don't trope leaks. They contacted me, somewhat rudely, citing some rule that "the forums" arrived at where leaks could be troped if confirmed by two specific sources, and presumptuously expected me to add the examples back to avoid an edit war.
I asked for a link to the discussion, and after replying twice to me, they still haven't bothered to link it. They did send me a snarky message with "you'll add the example back tomorrow ;)" (referring to a trailer release), however, after I linked a forum post replying to them, that they replied to that says not to use leaks, as well as the Content Leak page saying not to do it.
It was a weird way of conducting the entire thing, and I figured I should mention it.
