I think the second one is originally from the Trolley Problem episode of The Good Place.
There is no war in Ba Sing Se.Any ideas anyone?
Edited by JeremySoloHow recent was this comedy, and do you remember who starred in it? Anything else from the plot?
I wish I had more info. I would say definitely in the last 10-15 years. I get the impression that it may have been a wedding or just an important event, but I can’t remember if it was a TV show or movie. Most likely a sitcom. I think he was under some kind of obligation to wear the shoes, maybe because it was a family member or in law who made them. But I remember the shoes were identical and completely straight, no left or right foot
Could it be The Kominsky Method? I should note that I haven't seen the show so this is just a fairly wild guess based on quotes which mention a character wearing homemade shoes in "Chapter 21. Near, far, wherever you are".
Nah, I’ve definitely never seen that. Thanks for trying!
Was it an UK show or a show from the US or Canada? It does like a comedy series I heard of, but I think it is from Canada not the US.
bumping this for new readers, still looking!
Found it… Just Shoot Me season 3 episode 9
Driving me crazy there was a scene from a comedy tv show or movie where someone was forced to wear homemade shoes and the shoes didn’t have a left or right and the guy wearing them kept falling. Help please! 😅
