openNo Title Literature
This was a book I read part of at school age, possibly in the school library. Been wondering about it on and off. Children are kept in a large building covered in mirrored glass, playing a simple computer game in which they have to direct a constantly-moving submarine away from rocks. No-one can beat it until the main character (I think female) finds a pattern and progresses through. Don't think I read further than that. I believe they were being tested for some reason. For some reason the image of an octopus flashes in my mind's eye when I think of it, if that helps. Any thoughts?
openEducational Game for Windows Videogame
There was an edutainment game I played when I was younger with a title that completely escapes me. All I remember is that there was a fish minigame (I think about weighing and balancing) that had mahi-mahis, a PDA like device with a girl I'm pretty sure of a darker complexion, and a bus minigame where you had to pay the driver in exact change and he would say "Oh how I just love exact change! Thank you!" I know it was geared toward elementary school students. I also vaguely recall something about a city, but I'm not sure.
openAvengers fanfic where Steve and Tony start a riot?
I'm looking for a fanfic, I think it was on AO 3, Don't remember a lot about it just that one chapter had Tony upset and hanging out ontop of a donut shop. Steve comes up to talk to him and people around them misconstrue what their doing as being romantic and a rally gathers around them of people both for and against gay rights (I remember clearly that it's mentioned one of the signs they have reading 'If homosexualitys wrong at least hell will be fabulous...or something to that effect) and the pair being very confused and trying to break it up when they realize what's happening.
openBook from40+ years ago Literature
Any ideas which book this is? Its from 40 years ago When I was at primary school the teacher read us a book, which I realised was quite challenging for 10 and 11 year olds, outlining as it did a rebellion in a dystopian urban future. She must have read it to us between 1978 and 1980 (given when I was at that school), probably 79-80 . The government used Gas Bombs and Copters (possibly Choppers) to put down the rebellion. Cars were electric, drawing power from under road cables. Some people removed the speed limiter. T Vs came with smell, the advert of a ?roast dinner? made the central character hungry. Any ideas?
openUK Educational 90s show (answered) Live Action TV
In the 90s, there was a series of educational shows broadcast on BBC 2 that were shown in primary schools. I remember Badger Girl, because I saw that twice- once in a school in Scotland and once in a school in Wales, and there was also Through the Dragon's Eye. The show I'm looking for was in the same series. There were at least six episodes, but I remember very little about it apart from the fact that it was about an alien. The alien, according to my memory, was brown, with a segmented body and a long nose (I think). I seem to think that he looked like a scabby brown armadillo that walked on two legs. He may or may not have been fuzzy, like the costume had been made out of an old rug or something. I don't remember why he turned up on Earth, who he was, or where he came from. He did have a spaceship though. I saw this show in around 1995, but I think it was made a few years before. It's been annoying me for about fifteen years, because none of my friends even remember seeing it.
Thanks everyone!
Edited by SchlubalybubopenWestern RPG involving samurai Videogame
I remember reading a review for a video game on pc sometime between 2000 and 2006. It was a western RPG set in either feudal Japan or a Fantasy Counterpart Culture, and it had a story involving samurai battling demons. I seem to remember it being named Throne of Blood, or Kingdom of Blood or Empire of Blood. Or possibly bones or fire... anyway, it had a pretty grim title. I can find nothing under those titles however.
Edited by AlbertosaurusopenA bunch of guys competing to become the real life Ken Live Action TV
It was a competitive reality show. They would get their own Ken doll modeled after them if they won, and... some other thing, I don't really remember. I think a hispanic guy won, and I thought that was pretty interesting at the time. Other than that, I can't remember much.

openEarthworm digging tunnel and spitting dirt? Western Animation
When I was very young (in the 90's), I saw an episode of something in which the main characters (I think there were two, but I don't remember what they looked like) were being led somewhere by a giant earthworm, who was digging the tunnel as they went and kept spitting the dirt behind him, in their faces. I think the earthworm had a mustache, but I'm not sure. And I have the feeling that it wasn't really a child-oriented cartoon (by which I mean it had crude humor, though probably not quite on the level of Ren & Stimpy,) but again I'm not sure.
For some reason, I feel like one of the characters was singing "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells", but that may just be my memories getting crossed.
Anybody have any ideas?
Edited by SyssarethopenCartoon from early 2000s Western Animation
Does anyone remember the name of the show that the characters would go to this building and they would all be certain characters that they'd battle as, as in they become them in a virtual reality sense, and when they finished they'd go and check their stats on the giant screen, it was in like an anime style but it wasn't an anime, I think it was on the wc and it would play everysaturday and it was the wc kids or something like that, please help me if you can thanks!
openDetective series Literature
A series of detective novels featuring a pair of amateur detectives I'm fairly certain were set in pre-WWII America (but after Prohibition). They're not married, since a Running Gag across the series is the man's efforts to get a marriage licence are constantly foiled. The woman Drives Like Crazy (at one point she's taken hostage and goes from highway speed to reverse in a secodn to escape) is extremely rich, but the man's sense of chivalry forbids him to live off his wife no matter how much easier it'd make his life. There's also a bumbling cop whose every appearance features him talking about his lastest get-rich-quick scheme and dream job.
I think the author's name was Rice, and I'm fairly sure it's not The Thin Man.
Edited by Chabal2openMan exiled after affair, possibly a dystopian, saw it around 5 years ago Live Action TV

openShow similar to "The Happening"
There is a show about 4 or five years old with only 1 season. The show was about 4 people who were part of like this village where nobody could communicate. And there was something in the air that they breathed that would cause suicide. One of those 4 was really depressed and was about to kill himself at the last episode but I don't know if he did it. Well, I'm not sure if it's only 1 season, but after the season finale, I waited for three years for another season to be made, but there wasn't any. Anyways, those 4 people found like a solution to their problem. They were special because they could communicate to each other. And also, this suicide problem didn't affect the whole world, just that village or small city or town. I'm a little shaky on the details, i haven't seen the show in about 4 to 5 years.
openNo Title Live Action TV
This was a kids tv show from the 90's/v.early 00's... All I remember is a girl who would come in from school, throw her bag into her room from the door and go "yesss" when she saw it landed in the right place. Se also got changed really quickly... would walk in and come out straight away. I remember an episode where an invitation to a party got shredded and they put it back together. She ended up wearing very gold clothes instead of very old clothes... I also remember it being a british accent but might be wrong. Can anyone help me? WHAT WAS THIS SHOW?!
openPieces of triangle represent human beings or monsters
This has been on my mind for over 4 years now. Just saying I watched this show probably almost 10 years ago, but I forgot the name and can't find it anywhere. So I start with episode 1. There was a kid playing his xbox or playstation and his character got to the boss but his character died. But so did his character in the 'real world' (got revived). Anyway, his character represented one piece of a pyramid (not a huge pyramid but a kind of triangle on a necklace). While the boss in the game (and so in the real world had some of the other pieces of this pyramid). He also looked a bit skeleton-ish if I recall correctly. This was all during the first episode. The rest of this series is a bit blurry. However I recall a kind of wild boar (who could walk on 2 legs) and he had red and blue boxing gloves (red on one hand, blue on the other), he was also wearing a yellow-red vertically striped shirt. This wild boar represented a piece of the pyramid controlled by this boss from the game. The boy who got also a piece just had regular human beings (first a man, but later in the series he received a 2nd piece and it was a woman), while the boss had monsters. This series was with real people but the 'gaming characters' were animated. I'm afraid that's all I can recall from this series. If someone has any clue please let me know. Thanks in advance :)

openWhat episode of The Smurfs is this? (Still looking...) Western Animation
I hope it's fine if I ask about an episode. Anyhow, I was looking around on the character sheet page of The Smurfs and saw trope entries that mention Gargamel beating the crap out of his godfather Lord Balthazar (who otherwise frightens him) for hurting Azrael, and I want to see the episode where it happens so bad. The page suggests it's the second Christmas special, but I've looked around on the Internet and neither the Christmas specials nor regular Christmas-based episodes (Baby's First Christmas and The Magic Sack Of Mr. Nicholas) even mention Balthazar on their Wikia pages (though it's possible it might be misleading info). I'm not entirely sure where to continue searching without resorting to watching every single episode. Could anyone please tell if they know what episode is this?

I am trying to remember the name of this kids show about a group of kids who snuck aboard a spacecraft and said spacecraft wen through a wormhole and they need to get home. I remember there being adults on board, a man and a woman; also a robot.
And there was this one episode where the girl with rainbow hair could do like a sonic scream thing.
