openMermaid boy found and adopted by human parents Film
A friend of mine remembers this movie, probably from the late nineties, about a human couple that finds a mermaid child on a buoy. He grows up, thinking he's human, until, as a teen, he starts turning into a merman. He's a great swimmer, needs to drink a lot, his hands become webbed. He's ashamed and embarrassed by this mutation. Eventually, he finds his real mother and runs away into the ocean with her
openB-Robo Kabutack Live Action TV
So what I remember about it was that it was live action like power rangers and most likely japanese though I watched it in china when I was a kid so around 2000-2004 at the latest but could be earlier. The main hero is a read robot that has a cylinder body. He would transform by basically having his pelvis split in half to reveal a new head and his legs would become his new arms while his old arms would become his new legs and his shoulders would become his new pelvis, covering his old head. They main characters would fight the bad guys in a boxing ring like place that would be summoned by a referee robot person. I believe they are fighting over shards of a crystal or something.

I've had this burning in the back of my brain. I used to have a VHS as a little girl with either a frog or turtle mascot as the lead. It was educational, almost PBS like. If I remember correctly it was set in some sort of play room or tree house that had stairs theat looked like piano keys. I remember one episode where it talked about Indy Cars and threw out the name Andretti. I looked up the Andretti bros and they do not have any tv credits that pop out to me. Please help!! Also I'm sure it's not Gullah Gullah Island and almost sure it's not Out of the Box.
openUK TV - Horse and Hamster Escape from Test Lab but THEY HAVE HUMAN MOUTHS Western Animation
^That's about all I can remember... It was pre-2007, I watched it with my neighbour and it was as creepy as the title suggests. I do recall there's one episode (or maybe a story line) about the hamster working as a call girl. I've been Googling and I am almost fully convinced I'm just a creative genius! :)
openAnimals who rescue stuff Anime
I liked one cartoon from my childhood that included a bunch of animals: a lion, who was a king, a bear, a wolf, a white female rabbit, and a penguin. They had to rescue other animals and it was basically a competition. The winner was celebrated at the end of each episode. I remember the penguin defusing a bomb. I think it might have been an anime but I'm not sure. Does anyone remember something like that?
openOld Children's TV Show with Robot and Imagination Live Action TV
I'm trying to remember a TV show I watched growing up as a kid. The characters I remember are: - Robot - a person dressed as a robot (but more like the ASIMO space suit) who acts logically in all the situations presented. - Imagination - a flying purple blob thing that causes mischief and asks questions. Usually Imagination would teach Robot something about humanity that logic wasn't conforming to or didn't consider. Imagination was CGI/added in post production to the live action recording of Robot. I believe both characters presented as female and had female sounding voices (or were at least close enough to generic to be nondescript). The only other things I remember are a shot of Robot tending her plants and something with the Robot talking to Imagination and a rocket (or Imagination was the rocket and did a loop in the air when it understood something/got excited). I can't remember if it was a standalone show or if it was a segment in another educational show (further complicating things). I'm guessing this would be in the early 90s? It was on public tv in Utah which would have put it on KUED or KBYU. I hope your memories are better than mine. All my digging isn't coming up with anything.
openPossible South Park Episode?
A long while back, I watched an episode of something that may have been South Park. I was pretty young at the time ( I didn't know any better); all I remember was that it had something to do with astronauts and some kid had a Potty Emergency throughout the episode. From what I remember, it had a similar art style ( Small bodies, large round head). Any ideas?
openPainting comes to life Literature
Looking for a 2000s children book where an old lady or old man (don't remember) with big grey curly hair would paint multicolored flowers on her walls and outside her balcony. The flowers would then become real, so whatever she painted became real (I think). I don't remember if the book had words or if it was a picture book, but the colors were bright and beautiful through the book. Thanks!
openI'm looking for
Does anyone remember a cop show with a vampire named Angel, he was a cop with blue eyes. No, not Forever Knight and no, not Angel. I'm thinking late 80s, early 90s.... Help.
open"Five reallys" Live Action TV
There is a possibly this is also from a movie or a book I really don't remember but there was this scene where this couple was like "I really really really really like you" and then they had sex and there was this inside thing that "five reallys" was like saying you loved them does any of this sound familiar by chance???? :|
openI've been looking for this for hours and I still don't know what it was! Film
This was either a film or an episode of a TV series but I distinctly remember a man walking around a hospital or something, and he kept hearing a little girl singing a creepy version of the Hush Little Baby nursery rhyme. By the end of fhe film/episode, the man tried to set himself on fire and I can't remember whether he was successful or not . . . I know this isn't much to go on at all, but if anybody has any wuggestions and nos to what it might be I would be very thankful.
openA Weird Pop Song Music
Heard a song while in Home Depot the other day, it was playing on some sort of classic rock/adult contemporary station. I couldn't make out full lines, but I think it was about the world changing and trying to become a better person. A line would be sung by an English (or possibly some other British accent) man (who sounded exactly like Neil Tennant, but I couldn't find any Pet Shop Boys song that sounded like this), then another line would be song by a chanting crowd, and it kept going on like that. There were breaks between the verses, but it didn't sound like there was any sort of chorus. It wasn't very upbeat/uptempo, but it wasn't super slow either. Kind of had the melody of the verses to the song Rasputin by Boney M, not exactly but similar and the same sort of speed? This is super vague, sorry, but I need to figure this out.
openParanormal TV show from the early 2000's about a haunted apartment & creepy wallpaper? Live Action TV
I think the show never made it past 3 episodes or something but I remember one episode where this chick with maybe short red hair moving into an apartment that was haunted, it had some ugly wallpaper that I think was supposed have colonial images on it and was haunted? This really creepy male ghost seemed to live either in the wallpaper or the ceiling and terrorized her and she defeated him but ripping off the wallpaper and burning it? Does that ring a bell with anyone?
openVery old show about a secret world with puppets living in it (NOT Fraggle Rock) Live Action TV
Alright, here in Slovakia, the show aired around the year 2004 to 2008 at max. But keep in mind that things take a while to get dubbed and aired here so the original is probably older. Keep in mind I was a 7 years old kid at that time so my memories are pretty blurry. One thing I remember about it is that it mostly took place in a kind of "different world" (might have been our world but a place hidden from the rest of it?) where some weird creatures lived, played by puppets (or people in costumes?). A gateway to the realm has opened trough a crack in the ground in the pilot episode, in some guys house (played by a human). Some weird creature (the main character) emerged from it and became friends with the human. He (the creature) did maybe carry a big walking cane with him, but I'm not sure. If it helps, when the crack opened, it did with a loud thunder sound. I kinda remember every episode starting at the guy's house, with a sort of an exposition to the main story of the episode itself. There is not much else I can remeber from that show, but I can remeber the story of one episode. The main character had to, for some reason, make a "friend pouch", where he put something from all of his friends. One (also a furry creature) gave him a piece of their own fur. The reason for this might have been to remove soem curse, but don't take my word for it. I can remember 8yo me running around in the elemetary school with a paper bag collecting things from my friends. So that's about as much as I can recall. I've been thinking about the show a lot recently, and it drives me mad that I cannot find anything about it, so I'm asking you guys here. Oh yes, I recall something now. The walking cane the main character was carrying was itself alive!
open[Solved] Halloween movie about a ghost kid Western Animation
I remember watching this movie where these kids were trying to get their friend back to life after he steals a jack o' lantern from an old man. They had to go through different places where stuff relating to Halloween or their costumes. In the end the kids managed to get their friend back.

What tv show and episode is this. A fathers lesbian daughter breaks off her wedding to her partner because she believes she is settling. The father ends up telling her she belongs with her partner because settling is ok. Settling is something good if you settle with someone you tolerate and can be happy with.
openA book that I am almost positive was called "Jeb" or "Jed" Literature
Okay, so when I was a kid, my dad used to get my books on tape from the library constantly. There's 1 book I listened to about 15+ years ago that I SWEAR is real but I have not heard about ot since despite constant googling. So the book is about this boy called either Jeb or Jed, but I'm pretty sure it was Jed. The book is a diary in the style of Go Ask Alice but it's not a true story and as the days go by Jed is revealed to be suicidal (my dad didn't realise this when he gave it to me and confiscated it shortly after I finished it) and the rest of the book is him documenting his suicide plan and getting things in order. He buys his sister, who is an Elvis fan and a bit of a free spirit, some apple seeds and blue suede shoes for her birthday a few days before he goes through with his plan. He kills himself by taking a large dose of sleeping pills and jumping off a bridge into running water. As it turns out, he survives and the last pages are narrated by his little sister. The most vivid memory I have is the last line being "Instead you picked a rotten apple, you didn't see the blossoms. Maybe someday you will." Is anyone thinks this sounds remotely similar, please let me know! I know this book exists but I can't find it!!
openKids Live Action Fantasy Featuring Magic Artefacts and a Unicorn Live Action TV
This one's been bugging me for a while, but I watched part of a fantasy series when I was younger but can't for the life of me remember what it was called!
It was thematically similar to Chronicles of Narnia, which was on around the same time, so puts it in the 80's or early 90's I think, it's likely I was watching re-runs rather than its original airing. The show focused on a group of three or four modern-day (at the time) pre-teens or teens, possibly related, who discover a set of magical artefacts. I remember one being a sword, and another a chalice. These provide access to a fantasy realm, possibly in the past, from which the artefacts originate, but going there leaves the world vulnerable to others crossing over.
There was a unicorn that is somehow connected to the artefacts, and whom the children are trying to protect. I remember there being a connection to a house as well, possibly a deceased relative's, and I believe the artefacts are discovered there, with the owner having possibly been the previous protector of them.
It may have been a British show, but I'm not 100%; I went through life believed Round the Twist was British until I rediscovered it years later 😉
Probably a long shot, but I'm hoping someone out there might know what this show was called!
I only remember sparse details so please bear with me. This show had a traditional hero's story structure to it, where a kid grew up in a village or some kind of settlement. But for some reason a big bad came and kidnapped the girl he likes for some nefarious reason. He and a group of ragtag team members go to rescue her. The biggest thing that sticks out in my mind is a scene where they are sneaking through the underground sewer system and run across a giant fan that blocks their way. So they have to time it just right to get through safely. They make to the big bad's fortress, rescue the girl, and the main hero faces the big bad. But he's no match for the big bad, because the evil guy can copy himself and is more experienced. But they all manage to escape to fight another day. This was the first episode setting up a larger story. Does this sound familiar at all to anyone? I haven't been able to find one lick of information about online, but it's bugging me and I really hope this wasn't just a figment of my imagination.
