People talking about the Sophie paralogue and I'm like.

I have sophie. I don't remember having much trouble with it. I don't remember there being green units on it. I don't remember much of that Paralogue at all. When did I play it? Wait, who did I pair Silas with? I used Sophie in Heirs of Fate. I have not played that paralogue.

Silas is forever alone.

I think it very much depends on when you married off Silas.

I like how Camilla has infinite use Dragon Veins with which to constantly bombard my army with 10 damage per turn.

Can't believe I won that stage. Feels like a miracle. RIP Arthur tho.

The good news is there's no reward for keeping Arthur and Effie alive on that map, they're solely there to help out/steal kills.

For future reference, you can trick Camilla into attacking irrelevant units, since she'll target whichever corridor she can do the maximum amount of damage in. Shove a bunch of scrubs in the first tunnel to continually draw fire (map damage can't kill) and then send your sweepers left to wipe out the enemy without getting bled out.

x2 I talked to Arthur which turned Effie (who incidentally scored the last kill of the map), but right after I allied with Arthur he was one-shotted by a nearby mage.

That sounds about right for Arthur.

Yeah, Arthur and Effie both aren't particularly strong since they start as enemy units, so it's no real surprise that that happened to Arthur. I'm actually more surprised that Effie didn't also get owned. Actually, come to think of it, Birthright likes to make just about any non-royal named opponent into garbage. Just look at the sad, sad state of Odin and Niles in Leo's chapter or how Selena and Beruka are more or less jokes in this chapter (and there will be more patheticness to come down the line).

Leo doesn't fare to well himself. iirc his boss stats are garbage.

Leo, Odin, and Niles are at least holding back, deliberately or otherwise.

oh m god the RNG worked in my favour for once. I totally screwed over Orochi and by a miracle Kagero was next to her and got a crit.

I'm probably about to lose this map but I just wanted to post that.

NVM I actually won. Corrin pulled off a crit on Hans and wasted him in one shot.

I'm drowning in Arms Scrolls. Is it wasteful to give one to Jakob to bring his Shuriken/Rod skills to Rank B?

Also why is Kaden so damn good? He gains tons of EXP and wastes everything.

If you've really got no one else who wants them, then go ahead. If you don't have Oboro at S yet, though, I'd recommend throwing it her way. The S-rank Naginata (Waterwheel) is among the best weapons in the game (which is notable because most of the other S-rank weapons have too many drawbacks).

Now as a conterpoint to what I just said about Kaden, why is Scarlet so awful? She only ever gets like two increases every time she levels up.

You're probably just getting bad RNG with her. Every stat has a chance for growth every time you level and it's a binary all or nothing. Your Kaden could easily turn out the same way on a subsequent playthrough. That said, part of what may influence it is that Scarlet's growths are likely a bit lower than your other units', since she's a pre-premote with strong base stats.

It doesn't help that the only other main Axe wielder I have is Rinkah, who is likewise pretty bad.

Maybe I should use some Arms Scrolls on Silas or Hana.

Onward into Valla! Am worried I'm using the Crown Princes too much.

For such a strenuous map Iago sure went down like a bitch.

He's also for some reason carrying the game's strongest sword, which... he can't use.

Which is fun, since neither can I. Kind of regretting not using Hinata more since I turned Hana into a Master of Arms, especially since I only have her use swords.

Got Oboro to S rank though. Should be fun.

How the hecking heck did no one notice Elise rushing into the duel between Xander and Corrin.

You're asking the wrong question. Apparently, jumping in front of a legendary sword was Elise's best idea.
