Yeah, he can wipe out half an army in one turn.
Where there's life, there's hope.My BR experience has been Corrin, Takumi and Ryoma singlehandedly defeating the entire nation of Nohr while the others exist mainly to give them heals and support bonuses
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonI actually didn't use Takumi or Ryoma in my Birthright play. Instead it was Corrin, Hinata, and Setsuna destroying the Nohr army.
Would I have had an easier time using the siblings? Maybe. But it's funnier to have an idiot archer and an idiot swordsman killing everything.
Edit: Oh, and Yukimura joined our fold in Chapter 23 as Sixth Ranger.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! So I'm doing everything right, the enemies are just really strong?
Not, too strong, but they are too many.
Where there's life, there's hope.I married Corrin to Hana because why not, but now my Hana isn't so great...my mistake.
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonThe hardest thing to survive is the first turn. A General, four Great Knigts, two Berserkers, and two Heroes advancing on your position, and you only have two turns to kill them before they mangle your healers.
This is one of the hardest games I've ever played. And this is the easiest version. I feel like a bad fan.
I should step away for a bit.

Put Ryoma in their range and they'll be gone next turn.
Where there's life, there's hope.Bizarrely, my Ryoma can't beat the General and Great Knights in one turn without a critical. Time for stat-boosters? I always forget stat-boosters exist until the very end.

Skill, Strength, Speed Tonics + Silas Pair-Up.
Note that even if Ryoma fails to KO, the rest of your guys can poke them to death.

Where there's life, there's hope. What's weird is, I initially beat this chapter easily in IIRC two tries. Then I reset Endgame and now I've hit a brick wall.
Fun note about Endgame Garon: he's vulnerable to the Hexing Rod. Also, to debuffs. Spy Shurikening a Caltrop Dual Strike onto him was quite possibly one of the meanest things I've ever done in Fates.
As for the stat boosters, yeah, throw them around. You might as well, since they aren't doing you any good after Endgame. Also, IIRC, the enemy formations are kind of loose. If you've got units more specialized toward kill some of the enemies, it's usually possible to split them off at the wings.

- Ryoma kills the General.
- Sakura nails Garon with the Hexing Rod.
- Corinne carves the turkey. Or, dragon.
That berserker, is actually the only axe user I won't use Ryoma against, because I know what will happen when he lands that hit.
Instead, I had Oboro, paired with Rinkah, use a Dual Naginata. Much safer for the baiting unit.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Well, farewell Birthright, you were awesome. Not sure if you'll surpass Blazing Blade for me, but I liked you way more than Awakening. The difficulty I had with the last five or so levels (admittedly, I was on Hard) has me a bit scared of trying Conquest though. Heard it called the hardest in the series, or at least second to Thracia.
My victory feels a little, hollow though. Incomplete, you might say...

Right now, I'm downloading Awakening onto my 3DS. Like I did with my playthrough of the three routes of Fates, I will be posting about my adventures here. Here goes nothing!
The Living Guildpact rules that coffee is an acceptable substitution for rest as specified in subsection … whatever.Have fun!
I felt so bad for Lilith. I liked feeding her.
Awakening is hardest if you play Lunatic+.
Like Lunatic+, Conquest expects you to take a very careful, measured approach to each pull. It's like playing an MMO raid dungeon as an SRPG. The latter is more lenient than the latter, though. By comparison, Birthright is more about sweeping with super units, as is more traditional.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiYou know, after getting to the half part of Act 3 of Echoes, I feel like going back to Fates. I might do a Magic Emblem (where I use only characters that can wield magic).
I have a question, can I use staves for this magic-only playthrough.
I might not post it here since I already have a female-only playthrough for New Mystery.

Fire Emblem Heroes Code: 4547311645 Fate/Grand Order Code: 188037115Well, it's your run, your rules, but I think since staves work off of Mag, it'd be fair game to use them.
FE: Genealogy Story Run 7PM PT Sun, Mon, Fri; Expert Unicorn Overlord 7PM PT Wed, Thurs: http://www.twitch.tv/kuroitsubasatenshiAlso, the epilogue answers my earlier question about Hoshidan succession - Ryoma is specifically mentioned as succeeding Mikoto. So Sumeragi named his wife his heir, I guess. Interesting. Has happened in real life but very rare all the same.
From my understanding she is regent until Ryoma comes of age and Ryoma just likes to keep things as it is because Mikoto is beloved.
Hinoka is the next in line after Ryoma.
Where there's life, there's hope.Where is that explained?
So using Ryoma consistently is normal?
