Theory time: Do you guy think that, truly strong Youkai, like god, carve the world in their’s image, making the world itself remember them and fuel their power. They make the world kneel and serve them,and that’s while strong one either have bullshit power (like Yukari and Suika), or pure physical strength that’s enough to carve the Earth (like Yuuka and Yuugi)? It could also be the other way around, but the point still stand.

I mean, for one, they can't really carve the world in their image because the world decided they don't exist. That's why they live in Gensokyo in the first place.
And as for "truly strong" youkai, only Yukari tends to dick with people AFAIK.

Well, this is probably reading too much into it, but in the battle screenshot Meeko's sprites are slipped, implying she's on the player side. Of course, Minoriko's dialog box is literally just "Line test 01234567890123456789" so it's like that's they're just messing around in the new engine for now.
